Earning Money 💵
The primary way to earn money with Fetch Rewards is by sharing your receipts with the platform. After you shop, simply snap a photo of your receipt and upload it to earn.
Both physical and digital/eReceipts are accepted. For eReceipts, you can connect your Amazon, Walmart, and email accounts directly from the app to earn credit from eligible online purchases.
Unlike many other receipt-scanning rewards platforms, Fetch accepts almost any receipt. You'll earn at least 25 points for each one, and you can upload a maximum of 35 receipts every 7 days.
The first physical receipt you scan each day will also unlock a spin on the Daily Reward Prize Wheel. This will give you a random number of points.
You can earn more for a receipt by:
- Buying a participating brand: Participating brands are those that have officially partnered with Fetch. They include Huggies, Pillsbury, Kleenex, Pepsi, and dozens more. When you scan a receipt with purchases from a participating brand, you'll earn a minimum of 35 points and a potential 1% bonus based on the amount spent on participating brand products (e.g. if you spent $10 on eligible products, you'd get an extra 10 points).
- Buying specific offers. Offers change daily and may ask you to purchase specific products, shop at specific stores, or similar. You can read an offer's details for qualifying dates, items, and quantities. If you complete an offer and upload your receipt, you'll earn the bonus points associated with the offer.
- Joining clubs/loyalty programs. Fetch runs some loyalty programs within the app, including a Huggies, Good Rewards (General Mills), and GoodRx program. If you join these, you may receive special offers, additional points for purchasing relevant products, or bonus rewards for hitting certain milestones within the programs.
Other ways to earn money on Fetch Rewards include:
- Sweepstakes. Join Fetch Rewards' bi-weekly sweepstakes and other promotional contests to get a chance to win huge points prizes or physical rewards. Official rules and entry information are posted on their social media profiles and can also be found under Sweepstakes & Contests in their Help Center.
- Referrals. Share your referral code to your friends to earn 100 Points when they sign up using your code and snap a photo of their first receipt. Your referral gets 100 Points too!
- Social offers. Fetch Social is a community created through friend referrals and invites. Sometimes, Fetch may offer opportunities to earn Points where you and your friends redeem certain offers that you share or that are shared with the friends in your Social group.
Cashing Out 💰
Once you have at least $3.00 (~3,333-5,000 Points) in your balance, you can cash out your Fetch Rewards earnings via Charity Donations, Gift Cards, Prepaid Credit Cards or Tango Card.
After cashing out, you can expect to receive your Fetch Rewards payout in 1-9 days. (For most rewards, the redemption process can take up to 3 business days but for physical Visa gift cards, delivery can take between 7-10 business days.)

Great way to save some money on groceries
I think it's great overall! It's a very easy way to earn money back on products you have bought, and the convenience of using it alone makes it worthwhile. It's a really nice way to get a little money back from your grocery shopping, and the wide variety of gift card options makes it really easy to choose a reward that you know you are going to be able to use.
I've also never had any bad experiences with Fetch! Everything has always worked properly and I've always been able to get the gift cards I have requested without any issues. I don't really have any significant complaints about the app at all.
- It is super easy to use! It's a really passive way to make money, and it only takes a few seconds to scan and submit each receipt. It's very convenient.
- There are a lot of products that give you bonus points, so it can be really easy to earn rewards when certain things that you are planning on buying anyway come with bonuses.
- The referral program for Fetch Rewards is great! A lot of the money I have made from Fetch has come just from getting referrals. I also like that they sometimes have special offers where referrals are worth more points for a certain amount of time, but they are always worth at least 2,000 points ($2).
- They offer a very wide variety of gift card options (possibly the best I've seen in an app/site like this)
- Even when I have to correct a receipt, the corrections are pretty much always approved very quickly.
- Sometimes they have special offers where you can get even more bonus points than usual for certain products. They occasionally have offers specifically for spending a certain amount of money on Unilever products, so that is usually something that pays off easily.
- Sometimes they have offers that involve getting a product basically for free. If you buy the product and then scan the receipt, you will get the exact amount back in points, which you can then use to get a gift card. I've been able to try a few things that I never had before this way.
- You are able to scan up to 14 receipts within a rolling seven-day window, so hitting the limit is not something I encounter a lot.
- Even if you don't buy anything that is worth extra points, each receipt scanned is worth at least 25 points, so it's pretty much always worthwhile to scan a receipt regardless of what is on it.
- This issue is easy to avoid, as I usually just wait until I have enough points for a $5 gift card now, but some of the $3 gift cards actually cost $3.50 worth of points, which is obviously not a good deal.
- In general, try to get in the habit of remembering to always scan your receipts when you are done shopping, especially if you have bought any items that are worth extra points.
- When you scan a receipt, make sure all the items you bought that are worth extra points have been accounted for and that you are receiving the correct number of extra points. If anything is wrong, manually correct the receipt and wait for it to be approved.
- It would be a good idea to periodically look over the list of brands that are worth extra points, as it does change from time to time and things are added and removed.
- Regularly check to see if there are any good offers for bonus points on products you are planning on buying or might be interested in buying, but make sure to pay attention to the details, because although it doesn't come up very often, certain offers are only good when the product comes from a certain store.
- Refer anyone who might be interested! The referral program on Fetch is one of the best referral programs I've ever seen. I have even made posters before with information about the app and my referral code.
- If you are newly signing up, it would be worthwhile to look for someone else's referral code to use. You will be able to earn extra money from using it, and they will, too.

Fetch Review
I recently quit using Fetch because it wasn’t worth the time I spent on it for the returns.
In defense of Fetch IF you have a family to shop for and but a lot of groceries it is worthwhile especially if you pay attention to what the specials are.
It’s very easy to enter your receipts.
Length of time it takes to earn enough to cash out.
Check out the specials and buy a lot of groceries

So easy to work with and anyone can use it and earn right away
This is the best receipt scanning app out there because it gives cashback on pretty much every receipt no matter where it's from. They also have a scanning time limit of 2 week receipts or older but they often cover ones that are 1 or 2 days old which is super kind. They also give cashback for digital receipts and each referral you get.
- Cashback on every single purchase with a receipt since it's free and doesn't take very much time.
- Special free offers and promotions because you usually unlock them just by using the app and it's a little extra money
- Super friendly user interface that makes scanning receipts quick and easy
- No paypal or bank withdrawal options which I use most frequently for basic utilities like gas and food
- Keep scanned and un-scanned separate to avoid chaos and confusion. I just save up receipts each week and scan them all at the end of the week.
- I use double sided tape on my wall to stick the receipts to and scan which I find a lot easier than moving things off my table and scanning there.
- Sort by Highest value to look for free items
