    • Testers
    • Customers

Here's how Trymata works for each of those user types:

    How Trymata Works For Testers

Trymata testers can earn money by completing both moderated and unmoderated usability tests on websites and apps. Approved test payments are automatically sent via PayPal.

    Key Points 🔑

    Income Type:Active
    Work Schedule:Flexible
    Workplace:Remote
    Minimum Payout:None
    Payout Options:PayPal

Payouts for approved tests are sent every weekday. Trymata says most tests are approved for payout within a few days.
    Pros:
    • Get paid automatically after every completed and approved test.
    • Earn $5 to $30 per test. With some tests being quite short, this can result in a high hourly rate.
    • Tests are available on multiple devices.
    Cons:
    • The number of tests you get depends on your demographic profile, response rate, rating, and how long it's been since you've taken a test.
    • It's possible to miss out on tests, even with the email notifications, since these are filled on a first-come-first-serve basis. There have also been test rejections reported by several users.
    • Recently reduced the minimum amount you can earn from a test, from $10 to $5.
    Tips:
    • Think out loud, literally. Customers are interested to hear your impressions and thoughts as you go through their website or app. Also, be sure to be on top of the required tasks and follow the instructions carefully. Keeping your rating high is the most important part of being a Trymata tester.
    • Fill out your entire demographic profile to increase your chances of getting a test.
    • Apply to tests quickly. They're filled on a first-come-first-serve basis, so if you're too slow you could miss out.
Pros, cons, and tips are based on real Trymata Tester reviews.

    Getting Started 🔢

Becoming a Trymata tester is free. To get started, head over to the platform's website and create an account. You can do this by signing up via email.

From there, you'll be asked to fill out some demographic information, including your gender, birth year, country of residence, household income, education level, employment status, family status, children status, community type, social networks usage, zip/postal code, and finally, the devices you have access to.

All of your demographic attributes are what Trymata uses to match you up with relevant tests, so be sure to answer honestly and accurately. You can update your information in the future if it changes.

Once you're in the platform, you'll have to take a qualification test before you start receiving real, paid tests. You can read the Trymata guidelines and watch example tests before getting started. The qualification test is unpaid but should only take 10-30 minutes max. Approval can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks (or longer).

Get started now: Sign up here.

    Earning Money 💵

There are two primary ways to earn money on Trymata:

    • Unmoderated usability tests. The test process for these involves recording your device's screen and sharing your thoughts as you run through specific scenarios on a website or app. For example, you may be asked to go through an app's sign-up process while sharing your opinions about the user experience.
    • Moderated usability tests. These are similar to unmoderated tests, except they're conducted live over webcam. In most cases, you'll need to share your face along with your screen and voice. Then, a researcher will walk you through the test live.

In some cases, after a test, you may also be asked to submit written responses about your experience.

Depending on the type and length of test you participate in, you'll typically earn $5 to $30 per test.

After each test, you'll also receive a score or rating based on your performance. It's important to keep your rating high as its what determines your test eligibility in the future.

Other ways to earn on Trymata include:

    • (Coming soon) Referrals. According to Trymata, you should soon be able to refer new members to the platform for a commission. No specific details are available yet.

    Cashing Out 💰

Once you have earned any amount of money (there's no minimum payout), you can cash out your Trymata earnings via PayPal.

After cashing out, you can expect to receive your Trymata payout in 0-5 days. (Payouts for approved tests are sent every weekday. Trymata says most tests are approved for payout within a few days.)

Trymata seems quite safe to use. They don't ask for much personal information and they never share or sell user data unless legally required. You'll have to download their screen-recording software or app to conduct tests, which is a bit of a safety concern, but it should only record your screen during tests. An excellent way to earn extra bucks

    Rated 4 out of 5
    September 20, 2021

TryMyUI is one of its kind site that only offers testing jobs. Sometimes the jobs are available sometimes they are not. The pay per task is quite good.

    Pros:

The tests pay very high Compared to the time spent

    Cons:

    Poor customer support

    Tips:

Allow notifications from the site to ensure correct timing for tests. The faster you apply the better since the spaces fill up pretty quickly.

Do not delay their payments and are reliable

    Rated 5 out of 5
    September 7, 2021

TryMyUI is allows regular internet users to acquire income by participating in usability testing. They actually do not require any special skills but just english speaking fluency. They pay through paypal and do not have any minimum payout

    Pros:
    • With the right profile there are many testing opportunities available in the site.
    • They also do not have minimum payout
    Cons:
    • They have only one payment option.
    • The tests are very specific on which devices. Some require high tech devices which sometimes the user may not have
    Tips:
    • Avoid spamming the qualification tests because they determine if you are eligible for the test or not
